How to get to Recoleta in Buenos Aires

Being centrally located within Buenos Aires it is each to reach the street and indeed to go from Recoleta to anywhere else in the city.

From the EZE Airport

The main airport for the city, where international flights lands, is known as officially as Ministro Pistarini International Airport, commonly as Ezeiza International Airport and colloquially as EZE.  Located to the south of the city it is connected by good transport links and reaching Recoleta from EZE is "easy"!

By taxi is of course a good choice, particularly when arriving for the first time and being unfamiliar with the city.  To take a taxi from the airport all the way to Recoleta is about 35 minutes if the roads are clear, but can take over an hour if the traffic is bad.   The costs will depend upon the traffic but generally around 200 pesos per trip.  As the airport is outside the city proper a taxi driver is permitted to charge a fixed price rather than use the meter.

In the airport you can book at a taxi kiosk an Airport "white" taxi or Taxi Ezeiza, again for a fixed cost.

Airconditioned minibus and coaches are run by Manuel Tienda Len Bus Company which will take you to the city, but of course is slower than a taxi.
